SERVICE - Frequently asked questions
When to rotate the tires on my Genesis?
Tires should be rotated when the tread of the front tires is
significantly worn down compared to the back tires. Since
the front tires are more prone to wear due to acceleration and
torque, they should often be rotated to the back of the vehicle to
ensure even wear and maximum life for the tires.
When does my Genesis need an oil change?
Genesis recommends an oil change every 5000 – 8000 KMs,
depending on the usage for most cars. It might be a good idea to
get an oil change at every scheduled service or to get in touch
win us if you want to get your vehicle checked for required oil
changes.
A few factors that might affect the oil change schedule are:
- Driving Style
- High RPM driving
- Towing
- Off-roading
What are the most common repairs my Genesis might need?
The most common repairs for every car depends on the driving
style, weather conditions and other abnormal driving conditions.
Even though Genesis vehicles are exceptionally rated for
reliability, some common maintenance items may be regularly
required such as:
- Brake Pads
- Brake Rotors
- A/C Refrigerant
- Air, Cabin and Oil Filters
Since these components are regular wear-items, it is generally a
good idea to have them checked at every scheduled maintenance.
